When laying out a document, it's easy to think that size matters, and also over-loading a composition with information so as to cover all of your bases means your audience will get a firm understanding of your message.
The truth of the matter, is that planning the correct amount of content for your design will allow for important consideration of spacing, which in turn allows for a composition to inherit a hierarchy of information. Telling a story, in this manner will naturally create a user experience, or journey, allowing comfortable amounts of information to be easily, and chronologically digested.
Designers at EMSL always make sure the most important part of your layout, the message, is communicated properly, and given the right amount of space so that all of your information is absorbed by your audience. We like to call this "functional" design, and having road-rested it, we know that it works.
